The Sherwood PlayRite 1 One-Piece Hockey Stick is specifically designed to help young players build confidence while developing proper shooting, passing, and stickhandling skills. Part of Sherwood's PlayRite system, the stick combines an age-appropriate length and flex to give younger players a stick they can actually load, helping them learn proper technique while having more fun on the ice.

The PlayRite 1 features Sherwood's youth-specific shaft geometry, with more rounded corners than a senior stick to create better puck feel and a comfortable fit for smaller hands. The design helps maximize a young player's grip strength while reducing unwanted shaft rotation during passing and shooting. Its length-specific 20 flex is tuned to the stick's 46-inch length, while an age-specific blade size and pattern helps developing players improve puck control and shooting skills.

At 46 inches with a 20 flex, the PlayRite 1 is available in PP28 and PP92 blade patterns. Sherwood designed the PlayRite series around player height and weight to make selecting the appropriate stick easier for parents as their young player grows. The PlayRite 1 is also available in a pink color option.
