The CCM Tacks XR80 Shin Guards are designed for competitive players looking for dependable protection, mobility, and comfort in a lightweight anatomical fit. Built with CCM’s Max Coverage ASD (Anatomical Shield Design), the shin guards feature an injection-molded shin cap fused with an inner plastic sling to provide enhanced side protection and a close-to-leg fit that moves naturally with the player.
The shin guards include a compress-molded EVA foam calf guard with PE plastic reinforcement for reliable impact protection and comfort throughout the game. An injection kneecap with comfort donut padding helps disperse impact energy away from the knee joint, while the new injection-molded shin cap provides strong front-facing protection and durability. Finished with a removable liner system, adjustable calf straps, and a secure lock strap, the XR80 Shin Guards deliver a comfortable, customizable fit built for competitive hockey.
