The CCM Tacks XR Skate is built for powerful players who want a durable, supportive boot with a more generous midfoot fit. Its RFM Power Composite boot uses NHL-caliber lightweight composite material with enhanced durability, CCM’s Tacks stiffness profile, and a higher instep volume for added comfort through the midfoot.
Designed for strong, aggressive skating, the Tacks XR features CCM’s One-Piece Boot construction to amplify power transfer from every stride, plus an increased pitch angle for a more attack-ready stance. Inside, the TotalDri Pro liner helps keep feet dry and skates light, while ADPT Memory Foam and Seamless Comfort ankle padding creates a snug, comfortable fit.
The skate is finished with an ADPT Comfort Tongue, a molded footbed with ADPT Memory Foam, the SpeedBlade XS holder with enhanced dial, and Step Steel runners for reliable edge control and long-lasting performance.
