The Smart Hockey 8oz Ball helps players build stronger forearms and hands for a harder, more accurate shot. At just over 8oz (226g), the MAXX is almost double the weight of the Smart Hockey "Original", but feels 2x (12 oz) as heavy as an ice hockey puck.

The patented 2-piece ball technology combines an ultra durable dimpled Surlyn shell with a steel core. The solid core covered by s Surlyn shell eliminates any pliancy or "smushing" of the ball between the stick and the training surface. The diameter of the ball is 2" mining it the exact height at which an ice hockey puck contacts the stick. The added weight combined with the roll and contact height of the MAXX ball strengthens a player's wrists simply by stickhandling it.
